My device isn't seeing TwonkyServer or TwonkyManager. What can I try to fix this?
Make sure your TV is DLNA-certified. Just because it has an Internet connector, doesn’t mean it will work with other DLNA-certified devices. You can check on this here: http://www.dlna.org/products1. Start by checking the settings pages for your TV to see if there is a setting to enable/disable/rescan for media servers.
2. When TwonkyServer is installed on your Mac or PC, a security message often appears asking if you want to give the software access to your network. If you don’t do this, it won’t function properly. Go into your software firewall or browser and make sure access is granted by adding an exception for TwonkyServer.
3. Try moving your PC near your TV and connecting them both to a wired switch. This is just for testing purposes because it minimizes the complexity of your system.
4. Make sure your TV or the PC running TwonkyServer aren't connected to another router or switch.
5. Some routers and switches disable UPnP traffic. Check your router settings pages to make sure this is not happening.

Where can I purchase music that works with Twonky?
Look for websites that sell downloadable MP3 files like Amazon.com, Walmart, Napster or eMusic. These files have album art, all of the metadata tags entered, and they are encoded at high data rates, so they sound great. iTunes Plus songs that are purchased from the Apple iTunes Music Store are DRM-free and should play fine. What formats can Twonky serve to external devices?
